Villa Löw-Beer is an Art Nouveau villa built between 1903 and 1904 for the industrialist Moritz Fuhrmann according to a design by the Viennese architect Alexander von Neumann. Between 1913 and 1939 the building was occupied by the family of Alfred and Marianne Löw-Beer.

The villa also has an adjacent garden, which in former times extended to Černopolní street. In 1929, the owner of the property, Alfred Löw-Beer, gave the upper part of the plot to his daughter Greta who, together with her husband, had a family house built on it – the famous Villa Tugendhat.

Villa Löw-Beer in Brno offers a permanent exhibition Jews in Moravia. The Villa and its Inhabitants, in which visitors will learn about the history of Jewish settlement in the region from the earliest references to the present day. Visitors can explore the exhibition individually. For those interested, there is a short introduction by a guide on the history of the villa, always on the hour.

Time spent in the garden will also be made more enjoyable by the freely accessible Celnice Gallery with short-term exhibitions, the Café Löw-Beer and a small playground for parents with children.

The gardens of Villa Löw-Beer and the neighbouring Villa Tugendhat can be walked back and forth freely and free of charge. The gate in the property fence is open depending on the opening hours of both villas.
