
The Music and Drama Laboratory is a new theatre venue of JAMU in Brno. It has created a state-of-the-art stage technology facility that allows students to prepare for professional careers in a trend-setting environment. It serves primarily student opera and musical theatre. The building was designed by Brno architects Pavel Rada and Milan Rak.

Public transport
The Theatre on Orlí street is located in the city centre, where public transport is well provided, so you can easily reach the building from all parts of Brno. A basic ticket costs CZK 20 for a 15-minute ride and can be bought at yellow vending machines at bus stops, via text message or by placing a payment card to a terminal directly in public transport vehicles. The building is located about a 5-minute walk from the main train station.

Parking
The Orlí Theatre is located in the city parking zone A, where it is not possible to enter and park without a permit. When visiting the Orlí Theatre, you can park your vehicle in the parking lot on Za Divadlem or Rooseveltova street on weekdays, even though they are part of the blue zone. All you have to do is pay the appropriate fee at the parking meter, where the first thirty minutes of parking are free. At weekends, these parking spaces are available all day for free. It is also possible to park in the underground garage under the Velký Špalíček shopping centre, which is accessible from Dominikánské náměstí, or in the Dominik parking house.
