The Janáček Brno festival has crossed the borders of the Czech Republic and headed out into the world for the very first time! In collaboration with our partners, we organized a series of three chamber concerts this April in prestigious venues across Paris and Brussels. All three evenings featured the internationally acclaimed Zemlinsky Quartet, who presented the jewels of the Czech quartet repertoire to the audience.

Within a single week, two concerts were held in Brussels and one in Paris—all of them reaching full capacity. The artists’ brilliant performances were met with enthusiastic acclaim and standing ovations. We firmly hope to repeat this extraordinary success in the coming year!

This concert tour was made possible thanks to the support of our partners, whom we would like to thank once again from the bottom of our hearts: The Representation of the South Moravian Region to the EU, Prague House, the Czech Centres in Brussels and Paris, the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU, and Edificio. The Brussels concerts were held under the auspices of MEP Ondřej Krutílek, and the beautiful floral arrangements were provided by the Secondary School of Horticulture Rajhrad.
