A Descent to the Roots – and Deeper.

Chant and polyphonic songs from the Příbor Hymnal of the late 16th century – a unique manuscript of Czech repertoire that also captivated Leoš Janáček. Gregorian chant as Janáček sang it during his years as a foundation scholar at the Old Brno monastery, together with his earliest Latin compositions.

Musical layers spanning centuries will intertwine within the intricate spaces of the Žlutý kopec Water Tanks – a place where past and present meet in a singular acoustic experience.
