The Janáček Brno Festival has established itself among the absolute world elite. It became the first festival in the Czech Republic to receive the prestigious International Opera Award for Best Festival of 2018 – and it repeated this extraordinary success by receiving the same award again for 2024. With this victory, it joined only three festivals in the world that have received this distinguished honour more than once.
