On 4 November 2023 we will be treated to a concert by the Janáček Opera of the National Theatre Brno under the direction of conductor Robert Kružík and with rare guests, violinist Josef Špaček, soprano Kateřina Kněžíková and baritone Svatopluk Sem. The Mahen Theatre, the venue for the world premieres of Janáček’s operas, will present not only parts of his operas, but also works associated with Brno. In addition to Leoš Janáček, the audience can enjoy the works of Pavel Haas, Bohuslav Martinů and Vítězslava Kaprálová. The evening will include the announcement of the programme and the opening of ticket sales for the 9th Janáček Brno Festival 2024. What’s more, the audience is in for more than one pleasant surprise!
